March 2011 - Jessica & Rob


Man do these two know how to cook and how to make a Supper for 15 look easy. Their Brooklyn spacious kitchen and large found table is perfect for Supper Club.

They made a Puerto Rican Supper to die for. You would never know by the food that Rob is English and Jessica's family is from Wisconsin.

Their Supper included the following:
White Rice
Pernil (roast pork) - Picture the right
Mofongo (mashed plantains with garlic, bacon and cilantro)
Pink Beans with sweet potato and green olives
Sliced Avocado with lime

They also served up some ice cream for desert.

Jessica has a meat blog Go Meat Yourself and makes fancy chocolates and Rob runs the Brooklyn Flee so they are very talented in the culinary/crafty arts.

The food was balls out amazing and the company was great. Baby Océane was happy watching everyone talk at the table, but we couldn't stay too late because she wouldn't fall asleep in her car seat.
