4th Year of Supper Club!
I can't believe it's already the 4th year of Supper Club. Lots has changed since the first year, but the delicious suppers continue. This year's first supper was hosted by Roxanne. As usually she set the bar high showing off her professional culinary skills. This year she made a hearty but elegant French dinner. Here is her menu:
Escargot
Endive with Shrimp Avocado Grapefruit
Ham and Camembert Crepes
Braised pork shoulder
Green beans almandine
Potato Gruyere gratin
Braised Carrots
Chocolate Cherry Tart
Pear Almond Puff Tart
Yep it was fancy and good. The Escargot was perfectly cooked, the braised pork shoulder melted in your mouth and buttery braised carrots blended everything together. She really went all out this year.
Roxanne also made this Supper for 14 people! 3 out of the 5 new Supper Clubers were in attendance (welcome Lara, Jessee, Jesse, Ken and Jessica!). The evening started off with everyone watching the a play-off football game and ended with everyone doing a shot. It was festive and fun starting off another great year of Supper Club!
